Timothy W. Tarulli

Timothy W. Tarulli, 55, of Dover died Saturday, August 5, 2017 following a courageous battle with X-Linked Agammaglobulinumia.

Born January 30, 1962 in Dover, he was a son of Chester and Julia Turrin Tarulli of New Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Angelo and Julia Turrin, Chester and Lucia Tarulli.

Tim was the Safety Director and Human Resources Director for the City of Dover. He was also Owner and President of Tarulli Video Productions and a Voice2Voice Patient Advocate for CSL Behring. Tim served on City Council for over 20 years, including six as City Council President. He was a dedicated Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tuscarawas County, proud member of the Tuscarawas County Republican party, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover.

In addition to his parents, Tim will be sadly missed by his children, Marissa (Brandon) Poje of San Antonio, Texas, Ciara (Daniel) Dotson of Spanaway, Washington, Tyler Tarulli of Dover; brothers, Greg (Kim) Tarulli of Dayton, Joe Tarulli and fiancé, Lisa Montini of Massillon; sister, Julia Squeo of Powell, Ohio; grandson, Gabriel Poje; and his sweetheart, Darla Carlisle.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday from 4-7 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 6:45 pm.
