Valerie K. Straub

Valerie K. Straub, 70, of Strasburg passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

She was born on August 3, 1954 in Dover and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Doris Robinette Straub. Valerie was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Straub.

She retired in 2023 from Kleen Test Products in Beach City after more than 25 years of service. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg, and was a devoted animal lover, especially her dogs and cats.

Valerie is survived by her brother, Terry (Vicky) Straub; niece, Katie (Justin) Might; and two great nieces, Ryan and Andie Might all of Strasburg.

A service celebrating Valerie’s life will be held on Friday, March 7th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev. Jason Rissler officiating. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
