Vemba K. Breniser, 94, of Dover died Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Park Village Health Care Center.
Born September 26, 1917 in Dennison, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Dora Cordrey Patton. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Woodrow May in 1985 and her second husband, Galen Breniser in 1996; nephew, Joe "Sonny" Ray and two brothers and three sisters.
Vemba retired as a Supervisor for the Ohio Department of Health and Human Services.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover and the Reliable Rebekah Lodge. Vemba enjoyed playing cards and was also a member of the Jass Club and the 500 Club.
She is survived by her nephew, Roger (Sandy) Ray; two nieces, Betty (Jim) Huff and Dee Ray all of Dover; many great nieces and nephews and her special friend, Patty Russell and family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Gene Kraus officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
