Vera M. Potts, 79, of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her home following an extended illness.
Born August 10, 1937 in Waynesboro, Tennessee she was a daughter of the late Earl and Rosielee Keaton York. Vera was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Potts on August 26, 2006; sisters, Esta Johnson, Annabelle Louise York and a brother, Jim York.
She was a member of the Salvation Army.
A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Vera will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda Bublycz of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Trisha Potts, Jennifer Bublycz; sisters, Estelle (Francis) Hilton of Warsaw, Earlene McInerney of Texas and Carolyn (Tom) Kinser of New Philadelphia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 pm.
