Veronica B. Cunningham

Veronica B. Cunningham, 79, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover.

Born on September 13, 1937 in Midvale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Skelly) Pauline. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Altier, and Marcella Pauline; and two brothers, Charles Pauline, and Joe Pauline.

She was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. On October 29, 1955 she married the love of her life, Wayne I. Cunningham.

Veronica was a member of Roxford United Methodist Church. She loved reading.

In addition to her husband, Wayne, she will be sadly missed by her five sons; Larry (Marla) of Dennison, Mike (Vicky) of New Philadelphia, Jeff (Vickie) of New Philadelphia, Mark (Tammy) of New Philadelphia, and Rich (Melissa) Cunningham of Canal Fulton; three daughters, Elizabeth (Don) Jones of Dennison, Karen (Chuck) Dreher of Strasburg,Natalie (Shan) Mizer of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Angie Beans of South Carolina, Frances Brown of California; a sister in law, Joe Sondra Pauline of Dover; along with eighteen grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place at Dover Burial Park on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:30am with Pastor Ron Heasley and Pastor Henry Mooney officiating. Following the service, a meal will be served at the Roxford United Methodist Church. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover are handling the arrangements.
