Veronica V. "Roni" Miller

Veronica V. “Roni” Miller, 75, of Strasburg passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 11, 1948 in Canton she was a daughter of the late Glenn and Agnes Eaver. Veronica was also preceded in death by her brother, Tony Eaver.

Veronica had retired in 2000 from Walnut Hills Nursing Home as an LPN after many years of service, and had also worked at the former Timken Mercy Medical Center. She attended Dover Alliance Church and Lakeview Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A wonderful and caring wife and mother, Veronica will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 52 years, Mervin Miller whom she married on May 7, 1971; children, Tony (Amanda) Miller of New Philadelphia, Michelle (Scott) Specht of Ragersville, Gloria (Steve) Conner of Sherrodsville, Anne (Jimmy) Harper of Strasburg; sister, Mary Beth Metz of Uniontown and 15 grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, May 4th in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at 140 South Bodmer Ave., Strasburg, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A private family funeral will be held with interment in the Greentown Cemetery.
