Vesta I. Hines

Vesta I. Hines, 83, of Dover died Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at New Dawn Health Care Center following an extended illness.

She retired in 1965 from Seibert Printing Co in Dover after 28 years of service.

Born July 23, 1916 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Fred and Alma Hoffman Frey.

She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Dover and AARP. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and TV game shows.

Vesta was preceded in death by her husband Clarence C. ''Ted'' Hines who died on December 21, 1983.

She is survived by three nieces: Norma (Don) Marks of Dover
Beverly Schaar of New Philadelphia
Carol (Bruce) Abrecht of Dover

One nephew: Ronald (Judy) Manley of Newcomerstown

Four great nephews: Matt Marks, Shane Abrecht, Trevor Simpson and Jason (Judie) Abrecht

One great great nephew: Joshua Abrecht

One great great niece: Jaclynne Abrecht

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Manley and Hazel Schaar

Brother: Dick Frey

Great nephew: Shad Abrecht

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2000 at 1:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover is handling arrangements.
