Victor L. Stahlecker

Victor L. Stahlecker, 81, of Dover died Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Morning View Care Center following an extended illness.

He retired in 1983 from U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. at East Sparta.

Born May 24, 1919 in Sandyville he was a son of the late Lester V. and Magdalene E. Kessler Stahlecker.

He was an Army Veteran of WW II, life member of Dover V.F.W., American Legion at Loudonville and numerous other organizations.

Victor was preceded in death by his wife Harriett Wilson Stahlecker who died on February 9, 1994.

He is survived by two sisters: Margaret Reagan of Winston-Salem, NC
Evelyn Gallion of Perrysville

Several nieces and nephews

He was also preceded in death by a brother: Lawrence Stahlecker

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Sandyville with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Dover V.F.W. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
