Vidyaben A. Shah

Vidyaben A. Shah, 82, passed away Thursday, August 5, 1999.  During her stay in Dover, she was being cared for by her son, Yogendra Shah and his wife Pratima Shah.  

She was born April 27, 1917 in Baroda, India and raised in a large family of 4 brothers and 5 sisters of which she was the eldest.  After many years she made her home in the United States with her children in Ohio, Illinois and Florida.  Her life revolved around her family and her religion.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother as well as a devout Hindu.

She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters all of whom have many children and grandchildren.  Her sons are: Yogendra A. Shah, Nalin A. Shah, and Pradip A. Shah.  Her daughters are Mallika B. Parikh and Meena M. Parikh.

Services will be held Saturday August 7 at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover, with open viewing and prayers from 10:30-11:30 am.  Cremation will follow services at 1:00pm in Canton, Ohio.
