Vina L. Korns

Vina L. Korns, 93, of Dover died Saturday, August 19, 2000 at the Park Village Health Care Center following a brief illness.

Born April 4, 1907 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Dora Walters Myers.

She was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church.

Vina was preceded in death by her first husband Allen Baker who died on December 20, 1960 and her second husband Homer S. Korns who died on April 25, 1994.

She is survived by two sons: Richard and Mary Baker of Dover
Donald and Donna Baker of Columbus

One daughter: Jean and Delmer Straub of Dover

Two step daughters: Karen and Vincent DeNoi of North Canton
Shirley and Bruce Mears of Dover

One step son: Jerry and Charlene Korns of Dover

One brother: Homer and Maxine Myers of Beach City

19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Fern Aul

Fern Myers

Two brothers: Robert and Walter Myers

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at 1:00 pm at the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Court officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Tuesday from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church.
