Viola B. Dummermuth, 95, of Dover, died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 in the Park Village Health Care Center.
She had owned and operated the former Posy Pot boutique in Dover for more than 20 years.
Born August 24, 1905 at Chappell, Nebraska, she was daughter of the late Curtis & Anna Putt Maus.
Viola was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ at Dover and was active in its Rebekah Circle and Golden Oldies club. She had also been involved with the Dover Garden Club, Dover Historical Society and the Downtown Dover Merchants club. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Dummermuth, who died April 9, 1993.

In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Letty, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, at 12:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8pm.
