Viola M. Guthrie

Viola M. Guthrie, 78, of Newcomerstown died Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the Community Hospice House.

Born December 17, 1936 in Yeager, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Harley and Mary Steele Williams. Viola was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Guthrie on November 24, 2012.

She was a member of the Church of God in Newcomerstown.

Viola is survived by her children, Tracey (Brian) Christmas and Brian (Kathy) Guthrie both of Newcomerstown; sisters, Maxine (Brady) Hupp and Brenda (Gordon) Kelly both of Tuscarawas; grandchildren, Robert and Andrew Eaton, Jesse Christmas and Kyle Donley.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Viola may do so by visiting the online obituaries and flowers link on the funeral homes website.
