Violet M. Huth, 84, of Strasburg, went home to be with the Lord whom she had faithfully served Wednesday, July 18, 2001.
She had worked for Canton Drop Forge and Corell Potato Chips.
Born August 5, 1916 at Freeport, Ohio, she was daughter of the late John & Bertha Hess Wright.
Violet was a member of the First Church of God at New Philadelphia and its Women of the Church of God group. She had been active in AARP, enjoyed making crafts and working with artificial flowers. She loved spending time with her family, and was affectionately known as “grandma” to many friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Dean ''Hooty'' Huth, who passed away on August 21, 1993

In addition to her parents and husband, Violet was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Wright.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, at 2:00pm in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastors John McFarland & David Dooley officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call at the funeral home in Dover on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm and from 1-2pm on Saturday. A reception will follow services at the Strasburg Village Social Hall.
