Violet "Lynne" McCully

Violet “Lynne” McCully, 83, of Bolivar passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in the Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar.

Born July 21, 1941 in Midvale, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Ayers Weaver. Lynne was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. McCully on December 1, 2018.

Lynne retired in 2000 from Zimmer after 26 years of service. She was also a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. She loved the simple pleasures of life, most notably in sharing meals with her family and friends. She had a special fondness for breakfast outings at the Canal Diner. A devoted animal lover, Lynne's heart was always open to her beloved dogs, Lady, Shelby, and Snowball, who were more than just pets; they were her companions.

She is survived by her step-son, Mark (Jeni) McCully of Orrville; and her caregiver, Alice Ritenour of Bolivar.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 10th starting at 1:00 pm at the Dover Burial Park with Pastor David Wing officiating. There are no calling hours.
