Virgil Gustav Hult, 74, of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at the Hennis Care Centre following an extended illness.
He served in managerial positions at different trucking companies throughout his life, and had also worked at Endres Rose Farm.
Born July 10, 1926 in Maple Heights, Ohio he was a son of the late G. Warner and Emma Swanson Hult.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, New Philadelphia Elks and was a Navy Veteran of WW II having served from 1944 to 1946. He also enjoyed golf, bowling and woodworking.
Virgil is survived by his wife Barbara Maxwell-Hult with whom he celebrated 22 years of marriage on November 4, 2000.
He is also survived by two daughters: Virginia and Thomas Anderson of Oshkosh, WI

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
