Virginia E. Henley, 83, of New Philadelphia, Ohio died Friday, January 2, 2004.
She was born August 27, 1920 in Cushing, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late William Beecher and Nellie Korns Coffman.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah�(TM)s Witnesses in April of 1973 and served as a loyal disciple of our King Jesus Christ for these many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Henley Sr. who died October 28, 1999.
She is survived by two sons, George W. Henley Jr. and wife, Brenda of Terre Haute, Indiana, Bernard M. Henley and wife, Cresta, and her daughter, Linda S. Stemple and husband, Jim all of New Philadelphia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lori, Dawn, Michael, Darren, Annette, and Jeff along with eight great grandchildren. Two sisters Bonnie Slutter and Edna Boyer and a brother, David Coffman.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, James David Stemple Jr., one sister, Mildred Kowalczuk, and a brother, Floyd Coffman.
Memorial services will be held Monday, January 5, 2003 at 7 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah�(TM)s Witnesses, 1212 Kelly St. N.W., New Philadelphia with her grandson, Darren M. Henley officiating. Burial will be private. There are no public calling hours.
