Virginia Elizabeth Kaiser, 85, of New Philadelphia died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar.
She retired after 24 years from Snyder Manufacturing in Dover and had also worked for the former Sad Iron Co. in New Philadelphia. She was also a wonderful homemaker who made wonderful meals for her family.
Born March 5, 1920 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Katherine Alleshouse Lawver.
She enjoyed camping and fishing, where she won trophies for the fish that she had caught. She was also known for her beautiful sewing and crocheting, and she loved making clothes for her daughter and all of her grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edgar W. Kaiser who died on October 9, 2003.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Dave) Rennicker of Mineral City; six grandchildren, Shelly Strauss of Dennison, Pamela Bair of Dover, Lisa Mathias of New Philadelphia, Cindy (Doran) Mizer of Mineral City, Tammy (Dusty) Louwerens of Mineral City and David (Tammi) Rennicker of Uhrichsville; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sisters in law, Pat Anstine of New Philadelphia and Mary Kaiser of Uhrichsville; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bud and Donald Lawver.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Toland Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia with Rev. Christopher Lowery officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends can call at the funeral home in New Philadelphia on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
