Virginia L. Regula, 90, of Sugarcreek passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in the Park Village Health Care Center following a brief illness.
Born on February 1, 1932 in Uhrichsville she was a daughter of the late John and Edna Grimm Reed. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Max” Regula on June 10, 2010; son, Gerald A. Whiting; siblings, Wallace and Jon Reed, Jeanine Tolloty and daughter in law, Emily Whiting.
Virginia was a life member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting items for family and friends, traveling with her husband to almost every state in the Union and 15 different countries; but most importantly, she loved sharing the Bible’s message with people.
Virginia is survived by her sons, David Whiting of North Olmstead, Steve (Donna) Regula of Dover; sister, Margaret “Peg” Herron of Florida; grandchildren, Heather Rowe, Melissa (Ben) Sprouse, Bonny (James) Anderson and one great grandson, Logan Rowe.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19th starting at 3:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, New Philadelphia. The family will be greeting friends at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
