Vivian J. Dreher

Vivian J. Dreher, 88, of Strasburg died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born December 10, 1925 in Columbia she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Wallick Barnhart. Vivian was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William "Bill" Dreher on March 29, 2013; son, Kenny Dreher and her brother, Bill Barnhart.

She was a faithful member of the First Lutheran Church in Strasburg and was an auxiliary member of the New Philadelphia VFW and the Charles Hofer Post of the Strasburg American Legion. Vivian loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and Bill always enjoyed traveling around the county watching their children and grandchildren with their sporting activities. They were Tigers through and through.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother Vivian will be sadly missed by her three children, Lewis (Sally) Dreher, Lynnea (Karl) Thomas, and Charles (Karen) Dreher all of Strasburg and her daughter in law, Kathy Plunkett of New Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren Kara Dreher, Kris Dreher, Mindy Dreher, Nathan (Jenn) Dreher, Josh (Nancy) Thomas, Seth (Jamie) Thomas, Damian (Lindsay) Thomas, Clay Thomas, Tyler (Brittany) Dreher, Travis (Courtney) Dreher, Trevor (Sarah) Dreher and Tanner Dreher; 13 great grandchildren, Aiden "A.J.", Kameron, Deacon, Aubrey, Zane, Garrett, Violet, Riley, Lydia, Grant "G.W.", Baylee, Landyn and Greyson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 am in the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg with Pastor Karen Biggerstaff officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
