Vivian Sue White, 62, of Strasburg died early Monday morning, July 20, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia following a lengthy illness.
Sue was born May 19, 1953 in Dover, the daughter of the late Carl "Popeye" and Vivian (Weber) Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Troy Harper; a daughter, Samantha White; two brothers in law, Ronnie Rouse and Stanley Winkler and a nephew, Stanley "Chris" Winkler.
Sue was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Strasburg. In addition to attending her children's activities over the years, Sue enjoyed playing cards and canning and gardening.
She will be sadly missed by her family including her husband of 32 years, Jerry O. White Sr. who she married on Oct. 2, 1982; a son, Jerry O. White II and his fianc Jamie Argabrite of Bolivar; her stepdaughter, Sonja (Denzil) Whipkey of West Virginia; a granddaughter, Rylee White; two stepgrandchildren, Tyler Tanner and Ashley Tanner;a step great granddaughter, Harlea Conrad; two sisters, Sandra Winkler of Beach City and Carol (Larry Nicsinger) Rouse of Strasburg; a brother, Dennis (Karen) Snyder of Akron; her best friend, Bill and Marge Good along with many nieces and nephews.
At Sue's request, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Strasburg. Following cremation, she will be laid to rest in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
