Wanda N. Page, age 70, of Port Washington, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in the Cleveland Clinic, where she was taken after becoming ill at home.
Born June 22, 1951, in Altamont, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Delphine (Campton) Dowds. Wanda graduated from Altamont High School, and, on May 10, 1974, married Johnny A. Page, who survives. She was employed by Kmart and Discount Drug Mart, both in New Philadelphia, and later managed a mobile home park as well as a storage business in Clearwater, Florida.
In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed reading and caring for the cats that she owned over the years.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Johnny; her children, Becky (Jim) Ferguson of Port Washington, Sandy (fiance, Brad Mitchell) Page of Carrollton, Johnny (Denise Tyner) Page of New Port Richey, Florida, and Patty (Dennis) Moody of Gnadenhutten; her eleven grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her sister, Alberta (Mike) Rogers, of Homer, Illinois; and her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Dorsey Dowds.
Honoring her wishes, Wanda will be cremated and her cremated remains placed privately in a columbarium in Dover Burial Park.
