Wanda Shephard Marburger

Wanda Shephard Marburger, 85, of Navarre died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Aultman Hospital.

Born March 4, 1923 in Navarre she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Laura Shetler Sterner.

She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Shephard who died on August 16, 1971, her second husband, Philip Marburger who died on May 28, 1989 and a sister, Thelma Speicher

She is survived by two sons, James (Florence) Shephard of East Canton and Terry (Alisa) Shephard of Beach City; step daughter, Lois (James) Reinhardt of Homersville, Ohio; two step sons, Ray (Flodell) Marburger of Dover and Dale (Beverly) Marburger of Beach City; seven grandchildren, 22 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 20 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev. Dan Legg officiating. Interment will be in the Union Lawn Cemetery at Navarre. Friends can call in the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
