Wayne W. West

Wayne W. West, 41, of Dover, Ohio died Thursday, November 9, 2000 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

Wayne was a Service Rig Operator for Bishop Well Services Corporation in Wooster.

Born October 7, 1959 in Dennison, Ohio, he was the son of Phyllis (James) Applegate of Dover and William (Mae) West Jr. of New Philadelphia.

Wayne served in the US Navy Seabees (Reserves) for 6 years and was an active member of the National Rifle Assn. And member of the National Arbor Foundation. He was an outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Jean Hanner West with whom he celebrated 3 years of marriage on May 31.

Three daughters Chelsea Lahmers of Richmond, Va. Eve and Anne Lahmers both of the home.

One sister Linda (Doug) Kendle of Dover and his mother and father in law Willard and Betty Hanner of Dover.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, Nov. 13, 2000 at 4 PM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Rod Phillips officiating. At his request, cremation will take place. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
