Wilbur E. Orr

Wilbur E. Orr, 95, of Dover died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Park Village Health Care Center.

Wilbur owned and operated the Van-Orr Bakery in Dover for many years and had also worked for Marlite, where he retired in 1978 after 27 years of service.

Born May 21, 1914 in Bowerston, Ohio he was a son of the late Dayton and Erma Weingarth Orr. His wife, Doris Orr who died on April 1, 1998 and a sister, Marjorie Swinderman, also preceded Wilbur in death.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover.

A wonderful and loving father and grandfather, Wilbur will be sadly missed by his son, Richard Orr of Seville; sister, Dorothy Walters of Florida; granddaughter, Rachel (husband, Chris) Frasure and great granddaughter, Madilyn.

Cremation will be handled through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover. Private family services will be held at a later date. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Wilbur may do so by visiting the on line obituaries link on the funeral homes website.
