William (Bill) J. Obermiller

William J. (Bill) Obermiller, 82, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, July 5, 2000 in the New Dawn Health Care Center following a six month illness.

Bill owned and operated the Dover Machine Company at Dover since in 1951.

Born March 14, 1918 in Dover, he was the son of the late Walter and Lillian Goettage Obermiller.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Dover, Life Member of the Dover Elks Lodge, and enjoyed fishing and cooking.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred T. (Millie) Obermiller who died August 3, 1993.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law Dana and Jim Cowardin of Columbus

Two granddaughters Mary Beth and Claire Cowardin

Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Robert (Buss) Obermiller.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2000 at 2:00 PM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Dr. David Oliver officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.
