William E. Geib

William E. Geib, 75, of Dover passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

He was born on September 21, 1947 in Dover and was the son of the late Albert and Virginia Dragich Geib. William was a 1965 graduate of Garaway High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron in 1970. Following his graduation, he was employed at AEP (Ohio Power) for the next 32 years. William was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek and was a member of EEE, a professional electrical engineering association. His main hobby was being an amateur radio operator with the call sign of WA8FFX.

William is survived by his sister, Diane (Randy) Olinger of Sugarcreek.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A private family graveside service will be held in the East Lawn Cemetery at Sugarcreek.
