William Eugene Steed

William Eugene Steed, born Nov. 14, 1971, a motorcycle technician for Harley-Davidson in Corpus Christi and a U.S. Naval Veteran, died May 12, 2006. He was 34 years old.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; his parents, Eugene and Karen Steed of New Philadelphia, O.; a brother, Wayne Steed of New Philadelphia; a sister, Melissa Ramos of New Philadelphia; and his grandmother, Nettie Shephard, of Sugarcreek, O.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia. Memorial and graveside services will be held beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, May 19, at the First Baptist Church. Following, there will be refreshments at “The Barn.”
