William F. "Bill" or "Wild Willy" Hambleton, age 61, of New Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in his home.
Born April 4, 1954, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was a son of the late Carl E. Hambleton and Betty M. (Berry) Hambleton Shutt. Bill moved with his family at a young age to Ohio where he grew up and graduated from Dover High School. Bill's first job was at the old brickyard on Red Hill, Dover; he was a hard-worker, having been employed in the construction industry most of his life.
Survivors include his sister, Sharlee (Mike) Bowersock of Dover; his brothers, John (Carrie) Hambleton of Wainwright, Bruce (Kay) Hambleton of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Bryan (Sarah) Hambleton of New Philadelphia; many nieces and nephews, including Richard Hambleton and (great-nephew) Jordan Freed, with whom Bill was very close.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hambleton, and by his step-father, Joseph Shutt Jr.
