William J. Homman, 26, of New Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
He was born March 30, 1982 in Dover.
Bill was a 2000 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School and attended Columbus State University in Columbus. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. He enjoyed sports and spending time with his beloved dogs, Brutus and Dempsey.
Bill is survived by a loving family including his father, Jack Homman; three sisters, Stephanie Homman of Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly (husband, William) Ayers of New Port Ritchie, Florida and Lindsay Gardner of Uhrichsville; one brother, Tyson Gardner of Uhrichsville; grandparents, Connie and Jesse Reese, Beverlee Gardner, and Marian Homman; nieces, Abby and Ashley Ayers and nephew, Anthony Ayers along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Kim Homman; father, Gary Gardner, and grandfathers, Willard Gardner and Jack Homman Sr.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:30am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow services with inurnment at a later date in Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday from 5-7pm.
