Wilma J. Migliore, 86, of Dover passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.
Born on January 12, 1931 in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Mahala (Diamond) Dillon. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Diamond and Clayton Diamond.
Wilma graduated from Midland High School in Pennsylvania. She was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover. Wilma worked as a nurses aid at Union Hospital until she moved to Youngstown in 1975. She then began working at Hill’s Department Store, and retired as a nurses aid at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially loved telling stories.
She leaves behind four sons; Tom Migliore Rph. (companion, Mia) of Columbus, Dr. Dave (Fonda) Milgiore of Dover, Dr. Terrance Migliore (companion, Heidi Mazgay) of Dover, Gregory Migliore of Canton; her brother, Melvin (Donna) Diamond of Florida; three sisters, Polly Wahl, Kathy (John) Gerting, Sis (Tony) McClain; three grandchildren; Victor Migliore Phd, Alex (Elaina) Migliore, Amanda Migliore; along with her special friends, Kathryn, Alice, Sue, Midge, and Carolyn.
In honoring Wilma’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. There will be no public services or calling hours.
