Wilma R. Potschner

Wilma R. Potschner, 92, of Dover died on Friday, March 7, 2008 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

She had retired from the former Schwartz-Klines after 14 years and then worked for Center Aisle as a seamstress for four years.

Born August 17, 1915 in Dover she was a daughter of the late William and Frieda Luthy Schwarm. Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Potschner who died on June 25, 2004 and by her son Dennis Potschner who died on June 30, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bill Schwarm; sister, Marie Judy and her son in law, Gail Herman.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover its Johanna Circle and the Coffee Cake Club. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and served as Past Matron. She and Bob loved camping and they were members of the Tusco Traveleers and the Good Sam Roadrunners. In her spare time Willie loved making crafts and crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Potschner of Dover, daughter, Cheryl Herman of Dover; daughter in law, Jane Potschner of Navarre; sister, Esther Locker of Magnolia; six grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Jessi, Robyn, Jill and Toby and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Michael Lowry officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from noon until 1:00 pm. Eastern Star services will start at 11:45 am.
