Yvonne A. Fischer

Yvonne A. Fischer, 90, of Dover went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born August 7, 1915 in Wausa, Nebraska she was a daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Lundgren Anderson.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. “Woodie” Fischer who died on September 10, 1988.

She is survived by four daughters, Carole (Lloyd) Herman of Athens, Pamela (Rick) Ruby of Charlotte, North Carolina, Janet Fischer of Florence, Kentucky and Sherry Fischer of Lynnwood, Washington; two sons, C. Blake (Judy) Fischer of Aurora, Ohio and D. Scott “Doug” Fischer of Dover; daughter in law, Linda Boles Fischer of Poland, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son; Craig T. Fischer; four sisters, Gwen Kunzman, Calesta “Kit” Stager, Veronica Hanson and Melba Eichel; brother, Calvert Anderson.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens with Pastor Mark Trotter officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Dover are handling arrangements.
